There could be some lovely bicycle lanes on the service roads. If at all possible there should be two way paths in each service road. Crossing Linden Blvd isn't really an option if you are making a short trip.
Please eliminate the slip lanes and dead end the service lane occasionally. Currently these are often used by the most crazy drivers to attempt to bypass congestion.
There needs to be better lighting and dedicated bicycle lanes at this underpass.
There appear to be just too many lanes most of the day which encourages a lot of dangerous speeding.
There are always drivers who are blocking half the crosswalk on the main road. The crosswalks need to be much more highly visible and have stop lines well ahead of them. A few red light cameras wouldn't hurt either.
I hate this intersection. Especially when driving South on Remsen Ave or West on Linden Blvd. There is just too much going on and there is too much room for crazy illegal manuvers.
If you want to make the whole corridor safer for everyone, please run the protected bike lanes all the way out. The whole way!
