Vehicles make dangerous moves across the sidewalk existing this gas station

Speeding is rampant. Need to redesign the whole corridor, especially at high usage intersections like Fountain.

Speeding is rampant throughout Linden Blvd. It's designed like a highway for the suburbs, not a street for the city.

Elton St - Linden Boulevard - Stanley Ave

The train tracks overhead create a darky passageway of danger that is terrifying to walk, bike, and even drive through. Clearly the trains won't be moved, but there is real opportunity for vastly superior lighting to be added. Look at what was done to this Shangai highway... http://www.happysleepy.com/2013/10/shanghai-blue-highway/ Why not make NY as bright as this?

79 St - Linden Boulevard - 149 Ave

79th street is the eastern most block that carries pedestrians in Howard Beach into this section of Brooklyn, yet walking up the street... all you can are cars and cars, and cars. Nothing about it is welcoming for people. Linden needs a grand redesign that accepts ALL forms of traffic - whether on two wheels or two feet.

Mother Gaston Boulevard - Hegeman Ave - Linden Boulevard

Mother Gaston Blvd was improved recently with bicycle infrastructure but the paths dead-end at Linden Blvd. A bike lane that simply ends is as useful as a bridge only half built. Please continue that bike lane onto Linden Blvd, since the road ends there and riders must go either East or West.

Van Siclen Ave - Linden Boulevard - Linden Boulevard

Van Siclen is a North-South bike route without connectivity to anything East-West. Linden Blvd is so wide, it needs major traffic calming to reduce high vehicle speeds - and adding a PROTECTED bike lane is a natural solution to fix two problems with one livable streets solution.

Linden Boulevard - Rockaway Parkway - Rockaway Parkway

Rockaway Avenue has a bike lane, yet it feels terrifying when it meets Linden Blvd as it's so wide. Linden ought to be tamed with a Complete Street treatment that includes BRT and protected bike lane facilities.

There is not enough time for left turning vehicles. This forces drives to quickly and agressively make left turns to beat the light.
