If a traffic light is added here, pedestrians can cross the North Conduit safely to get to the Southern Fields. Also, there would be less speeding between Lefferts and 114th St., so it would also be safer for pedestrians walking to the train station.

Belt Parkway - Belt Parkway Exit 17 North Wb - Belt Parkway Wb En Lefferts Blvd

This space should be converted to parking for people visiting the Southern Fields. Right now, there isn't enough street parking, causing an issue for the neighborhood. Additionally, it would be safer to access the park without needing to cross the North Conduit.

We desperately need a traffic light at the intersection of 116th St. and North Conduit Ave. The cars speed between Lefferts Blvd. and 114th St. traffic lights, making it very unsafe for residents and pedestrians. There are 5-7 houses between 116th St. and 114th St. with driveways on North Conduit Ave. We are unable to safely enter or exit our driveways due to cars traveling at high speeds and the short distance between traffic lights. Additionally, children require a safe crossing to access the Southern Fields. And pedestrians walking to the train station can get a respite of safety with the reduction of speeding cars, while they are walking on the North Conduit.

When cars are turning right from 116th St. onto the Conduit, they always have to go into the 2nd lane because due to the curve of the street, there isn’t enough space to turn into the first lane. This is very dangerous due to the on-going traffic at fast speeds on the Conduit. Many times we have to wait until the light at Lefferts turns red, and also wait for the traffic of cars turning from Lefferts onto the Conduit to ease before making the turn.

there should be much safer walking connections to connect the ballfields and Tudor Park. Currently feels super unsafe

This funeral home has uses the median for overflow parking. This green space should be reserved for pedestrians, cyclists (& horses), not cars. Aren't there enough roads for cars already?

This comment is about the corridor overall not a specific intersection. If you look at my bike heat map there is a massive unraveled gap that is almost identical to the study corridor. I'd attach the photos if I could.

Massive bike route gap south of Highland Park. Especially if cyclists are seeking the 88th st Bridge over Conduit or the Eskine overpass on the Belt. As designed Conduit is an obstruction but if it were converted to a regular road with a bike route it would be a massive park to Crossbay resource.

Pitkin Ave - Conduit Boulevard - Conduit Boulevard

Liberty and Sutter are necessary bike routes but Atlantic and especially Pitkin have deep red bike desire lines on Ride with GPS. Pitkin seems to be the preferred route by far. Not sure if that's because it's the most convenient route, or if other routes are more frightening.
