This is Staten Island CUNY/ NY State property. This is one of the busiest intersection in the morning as well as afternoon during rush hour. Students can use this dockless bike location to travel free of car. This will help minimize traffic congestion in Staten Island.

Please add dockless biking around Staten Island Mall area. This area has numerous residents commuting to Manhattan as well as to St. George ferry terminal. It is one of the most popular destinations in Staten Island and there are more than 4 public schools near by. With the expansion of the Staten Island Mall as well as the new grocery store in the mall, more residents will visit this location, therefore, we need to expand services to Staten Island Mall. Thank you!

I tried using Lime bike when I visited Staten Island. There were several at the ferry terminal. However, when I tried to unlock them with the app all 3 bikes said that they couldn't be unlocked. I then walked up the hill, and found a bike that did unlock and said it was at full charge. However, the electric boost did not work at all. The bike was incredibly rickety, the basket making a very load clanking noise continuously. Without the pedal assist it was incredibly cumbersome and heavy, and I had to walk it up several hills. Additionally, the service was incredibly expensive (almost $5 for a 23 minute ride), especially when considering the bike's condition.

This is a dense area that is just long enough a walk from the 6 train to add substantial time to a trip. The buses are often crowded and bunching reduces reliability. Adding dockless bicycle share to this area would allow people to more easily reach the subway or the ferry at Clason Point Park.

We noticed these bikes just being dropped all along the roads and sidewalks on private property in Breezy Point, queens. I hope there is some type of tracking mechanism to be able to fine those irresponsibly leaving these bikes in places they dont belong. We also have strict rules in BP of no bike riding on sidewalks which these users are unaware of and have been seen breaking our coop rules when entering our private community. Those riding these bikes into our private community are not being presented with the same fines our residents receive when riding bikes on the sidewalks. We do not need these bikes to enter our private community and I would suggest they be banned from being permitted to enter especially since those riding into our private community do not adhere to the same rules that our residents are made to follow and leaving these bikes scattered on the one lane road we only have is bound to cause an accident.

Very busy hub area. The area could use a bike share (docked or dockless) . We have offices, hospitals, libraries on East 169th Street circa Third Avenue. Some of the workers come from other boroughs, normally catch the 2 or 5 train to East 149th and Third Avenue. Although there are plenty of buses, the bus service can be extremely slow and crowded. One of my co-workers said he waited 45 minutes for the Bx15 bus. It would be a great idea to bring bike share to the area. Also useful to get lunch and bring back to the office.

East 161st Street also could use bike share because of the courthouses, offices, Starbucks, Yankee Stadium, Porto Salvo restaurant, etc.

I appreciate the JUMP bikes on the north shore of Staten Island, but already have a Citibike membership. The JUMP technology is good but expensive--I will only use it to avoid a (slightly) larger fare on a bus to certain locations. I feel unfairly represented as a New Yorker to have a Citibike membership but to not be able to use it in my "home" borough. How many Citibike members are based in Staten Island? Why can that not be an option here? It seems political and not based on commuter needs. Thank you for reading.

Specific to the project-bike infrastructure outside SIFerry, our biggest/busiest transportation hub, is ineffective for blocks due to - illegal parking, construction, double parking in bike lane, lack of enforcement. Richmond Terrace bike lane, an easy level ride to and from our biggest/busiest cultural center, is fragmented (disappears between WesterveltAv and JerseySt, in front of GerardisMarket, and ends on narrow curving street short of cultural center entrance.

My husband and I tried the dockless bikeshare program on the weekend - loved it, had fun and would def use them again. We tried the green Limebikes - very easy and intuitive to use the App to initiate the rental period and access/unlock the bike. The bike was lightweight and easy to steer. We had fun cursing around the tracks by Urby. We also tried the red Jump bikes. It took a while to figure out the pinned on the bike to initiate the rental - as it kept registering the wrong phone number and was difficult/sluggish to delete info and start again. Also the bike was a lot more difficult to steer (probably due to front of it being heavier). I read there was a pedal assist function but we had no idea how to find it. The other feedback I would give is: (1) The city should create a dedicated bike and walking trail that circumnavigates Staten Island, with food trucks and coffee stands peppered along the route. (2) This feedback system is biased towards negative feedback - there was no option to select "positive feedback" or even "other" - it seemed to assume the respondents would be all the negative and cranky people who commented about the bikeshare program on SI Live. (3) Place some bikes at Silver Lake park on the weekend, as the road that bisects it is shut down to traffic.

Rented two Electric Lime bikes and only one was working even though battery was charged. Then rented two Jump bikes and only one of those had working power assist. Electric assist is fanastic feature for hilly Staten Island but disappointing to have it only working half the time. Jump bike also had buggy App and wouldn't show ride as finishing.

Also please extend the bike share in the Bronx further south. I work on East 169th Street and would like to ride towards the Hub or further south to grab a health lunch and then ride back to 169th Street. The Bx15 and Bx21 buses can be painfully slow and crowded. Although the bike share boundaries in Central Park is fantastic, the South Bronx needs bike share as well. Around 149th Street, 161st Streets.

West Brighton, Westerleigh, Port Richmond and Mariners Harbor are areas on the North Shore already underserved by public transportation, so it's a little disheartening to see the dockless bike program launch in areas of the island that already have a number of other options, including a train and many more bus routes. While the dockless bike program seems like a great idea, it could be serving areas much more in need of the transit options along the north shore west of the ferry terminal.

DOCKED bikes -- not dockless bikes -- should be placed here and everywhere else in Bushwick prior to the L Train shutdown. Since the Citibike contract specifically does not allow dockless bikeshare to overlap with its territory, and most destinations along the L train are within Citibike's service area, dockless bike share is NOT a solution for mobility for Bushwick during the shutdown. Citibike should be expanded to this area immediately. Motivate has already expressed an interest and ability to expand; NYC DOT's inaction to expand to Bushwick in preparation for the L Train shutdown would be bordering on transportation planning malpractice.

Dockless CitiBikes should be included in Bushwick, Ridgewood and farther east as part of the L train mitigation plan. Having the already existing CitiBike system expanded past Bushwick Avenue will open up a "one-fare" bikeshare ride for those greatly effected by the coming shutdown.

Allow dockless bikes on both sides of the NY Botanical Garden/Bronx Zoo. Would provide the ability to ride from local subways stops to all entrances/exits of NYBG and Bx Zoo. (i.e. NYBG's East Gate on Bx Pk East, and Pelham Pkwy/Boston Rd entrance of Bx Zoo.) Plus streets on the east side of Bronx Park are in general more bike friendly than the west side.
Also to help local business, people may be more inclined to visit local stores if an quick bike ride is an option.
