Cars frequently run red lights. Have almost been hit numerous times by cars during left either on Linden Blvd or New York Ave. Cars too fast, very dangerous intersection.
Another spot where buses get stuck. I"d love to be able to use the B35 as an E/W route but through the church ave commercial district there's so much double parking and traffic from private vehicles that the bus goes slower than walking speed and it doesn't feel like a real option for travel
So hard to take the B35 because it just crawls through double-parked cars clogging up Church Ave.
The church fills this block up with double parked cars on Sundays :/
This lovely little square is under used because it's ringed and sliced by too many roads. Would be great to connect this with the block at one of its edges, consolidate traffic, and make this a more usable space. Nobody likes sitting in the middle of a bunch of traffic!
Cars often illegally park in the bike lane here at the entrance.
Really bad frequent double parking on Parkside between Flatbush and Ocean.
Grocery store often gets deliveries via double-parked trucks, because of curb space taken for parking. That pushes the traffic into the center, right before the turning lane - it's a mess.
Constant double parking between Church and Caton, often with double parking on both sides of the street leaving only one narrow lane for moving.
This is an incredibly dangerous intersection for pedestrians, sight lines are bad, cars routinely race the red, I cross here with my kids multiple times a week and it feels like we’re taking our lives in our hands every time
