THE BLOCK IN QUESTION IS IDEALLY LOCATED FOR DELIVERY TRUCKS TO STAND WHILE MAKING DELIVERIES.
Please consider E 77th St between 1st & 2nd Av for a NLZs. The demand for the few hydrant spaces on this block is really high leading to frequent double parking that blocks trucks (noise) and ambulances (the ER entrance to Lenox Hill is 3 blocks up on 77th St)
Please consider providing an NLZ on 94th St for the only 2 residential building entrances that exist between Madison and Park Ave. This one-way residential street meets all NLZ criteria and would alleviate traffic congestion due to school traffic. Thank you for your consideration! :-)
Request for a neighborhood loading zone on the north side of 74th st between 1st and York avenues to allow for commercial delivery unloading, car and taxi pick up/drop-off at residential locations.
This is a very busy intersection often blocked by hospital vehicles which need more designated loading places. Around the corner on Lex, trucks need more loading space as well.
As a resident on this block, I am often bothered by gridlocked traffic due to double-parked delivery trucks serving the restaurants, laundromats, schools, and residences on this block. It would benefit from a loading zone closer to 2nd avenue. There is a 'truck loading zone' nearer to 3rd avenue but it is always blocked by personal cars.
This is a common location for bus lane blocking and causing M15 buses to be blocked by traffic. It would benefit greatly from a loading zone.
