Projects & Initiatives Site Policy

Follow these steps to submit a relief stand suggestion.

Please add a comment indicating WHY you selected it - such as "bathrooms nearby," or "close to restaurants."

Existing relief stands are shown on the map in purple.

Leave a comment even if the location you want has already been suggested. Popular suggestions will be carefully considered.

Steps:

Select comment type, "Taxi/FHV Relief Stand Needed"

Choose "Submit via Map" or "via Form"

Via Map

Click the flashing yellow icon in the top right corner

Drop the pin on the map to show your suggestion

(Optional) Use Google Street View to find the exact area of your suggestion

Via form

Choose the borough, and then whether the location is on a corner or between two streets

Type in the street, click Search, and select the street name from the drop down menu

Select the cross streets from the drop down menu

Subway restaurant on 11th and 52nd st is a hotspot for drivers, and is convenient for drivers working in midtown.

Next to the park for a good break spot as it will allow driver to use restroom as the park and also walk during the break and grab some lunch

There is one Indian deli here. Cab drivers always do double parking. Because there is no taxi stand around here. I think that corner good spot.

That is correct - taxi driver should freely drive and get rest in NYC. Also, remove taxis release from any talls in these areas. We are serving the people of NYC day and night.
