Good Citi Bike Station location
Good Location for a Citi Bike Station
Gleane St - Baxter Ave - Britton Ave

A longstanding and successful cultural hub and live music venue for the neighborhood, with a lot of comings and goings from the wider area that would likely ride here if it was an option. A well-used private corral attests to this.

This intersection has special cultural significance to Jazz (Louis Armstrong and Dizzy Gillespie homes), and to a demographic (Black) that is underrepresented in Citi Bike usage, and biking in general. A station here would be both practical and meaningful.

Libraries are a natural anyway, but this library, with the Langston Hughes center, has special cultural significance to a demographic (Black) that is underrepresented in Citi Bike usage, and biking in general. A station here would be both practical and meaningful.

This is s significant retail hub for this part of the neighborhood, and 31st Ave is a common route for bicyclists in the neighborhood who bike to Astoria, and to its NYC Ferry stop. Good trip-linking location.

Jackson Heights does want them, there's a strange group of sour people who think we should drive cars everywhere like this was Manhasset when that makes absolutely no sense given the way our neighborhood is built up.

Permanent open street with no alternative transportation (bus, subway) available, so a Citi Bike station would be great here, midway between the 80th and 90th street corridors.

Much safer to bike on open/residential 34th Avenue than on 37th or Roosevelt, which are always gridlocked and have considerable truck traffic. Those commercial avenues are very unsafe for bikers.

Shopping center parking lot is generally underused and there are good shops here that are just a little too far to walk from denser parts of the neighborhood - would be great to bike to them.

I hope there will be Citi Bike stations AT THE AIRPORT..??? But, since it's outside the boundary, dropping a suggestion inside the boundary here.

Perfect for a bike station. It's near a train station so people can ride home from there. Lots of pedestrians walk around there.
