This feedback map is for the 2023 Queens Citi Bike expansion, which focuses on Queens Community Boards 3 and 4. Neighborhoods in this area include Jackson Heights, Corona, Elmhurst, and East Elmhurst.

Recently, NYC DOT presented the draft plan presentations for Community Board 3 (PDF) and Community Board 4 (PDF). These maps show the planned locations for Citi Bike stations within these districts. Since you ruined 78th Street between 34th and 35th for people with cars, you might as well put bikes there. We don't need you to take away any more parking spaces, thank you very much.

Bad area for it. Lots of lil kids going to the school on 70th. Dangerous

Great location, right next to the school. Lived here long time and very supportive. On 74th and 34th avenue is perfect. Bus goes there too

Bike stations would be fine here if on the sidewalk or in the open area where cars aren’t coming and going. Pick and and drop off for Garden School and the dealership would make it hazardous to put these on the street.

I am an elderly resident with walking difficulties and I rely on my vehicle, no on street parking should be occupied by these citibike racks. On the wide sidewalk along the shopping center is okay. Also there is already enough problems with noise and loittering here and it would not help to have a bike dock to bring more noise pollution

This area is already dealing with immense problems of underage teenage youth using cannibis and other illegal drugs loittering littering and causing a general disturbance in this area. Adding another citibike dock will only lead to more illicit activities and should thus never be installed here

The general consensus by residents is citibike docking stations aren’t wanted unless they occupy sidewalk space and do not infringe on much-needed on street parking that many elderly, working class, people of color, and many others rely on
