high traffic residential homes in the historic district preserve our homes and space.
This area is underserved by public transport and could use all the help it can get; also, Astoria Blvd is wide enough to accommodate extra bike traffic. Much better option than the already-congested Northern Blvd and 34th ave corridors. This corner specifically has connection to several bus lines, close to airport, close to some shops and a supermarket.
Citi bikes would offer another option to students and staff at the school.
Hopefully, a bike station can reduce the double-parked cars outside Pio Pio by encouraging people to pick up food by bike.
