Walk way should be added across Seaview ave. Cars speed in both directions without stoping for pedestrians. Children and elderly are at risk
Every other day, people drive into the bus stop to either pick people up or drop someone off when there's room to park in front of the stop. This especially causes an issue when it's done as a bus is close by.
Last week, yet another incident at this intersection. It looked like the speeding car's driver might've been some reckless kid or criminal trying to make a getaway, and they hit a car parked on the side of the street; maybe almost hit one or two people too. Then the driver sped off down Avenue K. Some people outside saw what happened but no one called the cops. This intersection is a block away from a school bustling with young kids and it has a ridiculous amount of speeding accidents weeks and months apart.
Crash occurred between two drivers this late afternoon right in the intersection who both seemed to be turning. I swear the traffic light facing E 80 st here makes turning and when vehicles can go or not confusing as hell.

This morning my mother and I saw a motorcyclist zoom down Ave K here and go right through a Stop sign. Luckily there were no kids outside crossing.
With only one subway line and the out-of-control buses, Canarsie needs a ferry service. Another way to travel to Far Rockaway and Manhattan's Financial District without having to take multiple buses.
The overgrown greenery with the narrow sidewalk makes it difficult to walk along here.
Whenever there's double parking
Sometime cars park in this bus stop, causing buses to stop behind them and partially block Flatlands.
Double parking in the bus stop
Trying to cross Ralph Ave and Flatlands with all those cars, buses, and trucks going and turning is really dangerous, especially with the short green lights not giving people enough time to cross.
Another incident
Some drivers go up and down E 80 so fast you'd miss them if you blink. Some even go through the red light.
On Monday, yet another incident
Often have to tell cab drivers that Paerdegat 4th St leads into Avenue K
Cars tend to park here sometimes
Cars sometimes need to turn onto Paerdegat Ave N from Paerdegat 1st St, and there's no lane markings for a straight or right turn here.
Many cab drivers do not see the sign giving them the OK to make a right turn here from Flatlands.

The traffic lights around here don't have a countdown clock, even those all the way up on Flatlands Ave, so before anyone knows it, the light's turning red, and they have to either dash to the other side of the street or wait because they don't want to risk it and get run over.
Large tree roots have made the sidewalk here an uneven mess. Walking through here feels like a workout and an obstacle course.
An accident occurred here that required police presence and caused one/two streets to be closed off.
One side of the traffic light stays green over a minute longer than the other side.
Sometimes four B103 buses arrive to this stop back-to-back, and some drivers don't bother to stop even though there's room on their bus and they clearly see pedestrians trying to signal them.
I hear a lot of car tires screeching like drivers think it's the Fast and the Furious.
The signal facing E 84th street stays green for only what feels like 10 seconds before turning red again, while the light facing Flatlands stays green for between one or two minutes. This makes a great deal of difference between arriving to school/work on time or late.
On the 13th last month, there was a car accident at this intersection as one driver was turning. One of the victims was taken away in an ambulance. The people living in this area also hear a lot of cars screeching and speeding.
Build protected bike lane on E 102nd St to connect Shore Pkwy to Seaview
Canarsie needs safe, protected bike infrastructure.
Not bus service. Rebuild the Bay Ridge Line and open the Triboro Rx with a stop at Ralph Avenue. Canarsie is really underserved, and this would allow for reduced travel times and increased connections to Queens, the Bronx, and South Brooklyn.
I can't imagine how people cross here! It is extremely dangerous and it needs a crosswalk and a long curb extension!
Need bus stop!

WB vehicles travel in right channelization and then make illegal left onto SB to avoid light
