Cars sometimes need to turn onto Paerdegat Ave N from Paerdegat 1st St, and there's no lane markings for a straight or right turn here.

Many cab drivers do not see the sign giving them the OK to make a right turn here from Flatlands.

The traffic lights around here don't have a countdown clock, even those all the way up on Flatlands Ave, so before anyone knows it, the light's turning red, and they have to either dash to the other side of the street or wait because they don't want to risk it and get run over.

Large tree roots have made the sidewalk here an uneven mess. Walking through here feels like a workout and an obstacle course.
