Bike Lane Requested

Euclid Ave - Etna St - Ridgewood Ave

Bike Path needed to connect from Cypress Hills Street bike path to soon to be installed Atlantic Ave bike path. This could also connect to what should be a greenway on Conduit Blvd and eventually connect to a Fountain Ave protected bike path.

Pitkin Ave - Howard Ave - East New York Ave

It would be great to have a counter-flow bike lane on that last block of Pitkin to connect to the Eastern Parkway bike lane.

Difficult Turn/Crossing

92 St - 160 Ave - 161 Ave

I never use these parallel north/south bike paths because these stop sign crossings are wicked, I just use Cross Bay because there I have the traffic lights. It’s always difficult to cross from a stop sign when crossing traffic doesn’t have one, but these crossings also all have a slight rise, making it difficult to get up to speed from a foot down stop or even a pedaling stop. Plus, westbound drivers have just come off Crossway and are getting up to speed which would make it difficult for them to stop. Eastbound drivers are heading toward a traffic light and might be gunning it to maleness the green.
