I cherish the Brooklyn Heights Promenade so hope that whatever solution we end up with doesn't negatively impact it
Please change over the bricks support for the brooklyn bridge to concrete support, to reduce space so you can make the BQE even wider.
I drive here on a daily basis. Besides the terrible traffic this is killling my brakes. The stop and go is a disaster for the environment and for the maintenance of the cars. Hi
Please open back all 3 lanes, the traffic here is unbearable and there is no construction going on.
Since the 3rd lane was closed the traffic became unbearable, now days if i need to travel to south Brooklyn I'm taking the streets, which of course brings more congestion to those streets, and a drive that uses to take 15 minutes is now minimum 35 minutes.
Please reopen the third lane, the closure of the 3rd lane is causing unsafe driving conditions on the highway, and on the local streets next to the BQE.
Please restore the third lane, since it was removed, the traffic is very bad, and causes much more damage to our planet, by spending much more time in driving.
Due to the fact that many cars use Hamilton avenue entrance and the lanes finish by ends by exit 27 the lane causes cars to movie into the middle lane if this lane would have stayed open as a 3rd lane there wouldn't be a traffic jam. Its Faster to take Hicks Street or Colombia street and then reenter the highway then drive through the hicks street portion of the BQE
Please get back the 3rd lane ASAP! it's so dangerous and just making the city traffic worse! when they build the BQE our boro brooklyn wasn't so jammed as now, reducing is not a option, we wish you could add a 4th or 5th lane!, brooklyn could use it, the streets around the BQE could use it!
In order to alleviate the traffic problem caused by the acceleration lane ending and causing vehicles to merge into the middle lane, the solution will be to reopen the third lane (acceleration lane) and the traffic will go smoothly
