Please reduce the speed on Hicks St. Cars speed here all the time. I'm terrified my kids will get hit by a car on their way to/from school.

Please cover the trench and make a park. It’s so loud and the air quality is terrible for the neighboring community.

Tear down the Prospect Expressway and restore the street grid and Ocean Parkway's approach to Prospect Park. This highway serves no purpose but to encourage people to make unnecessary car trips in a neighborhood with good transit conections

The Verrazzano Bridge needs pedestrian access. Preferably via 92 St.

The intersection of 65th street and 3rd avenue / on-ramp to the BQE is incredibly dangerous for pedestrians. There are 6 roads and multiple (non-signaled) turning lanes. I have personally been nearly hit by vehicles 5 times within the last year, including once while carrying my infant daughter on my chest while pushing my toddler son in a stroller. This is a route children take to attend the school (that they are zoned for) on 60th/3rd avenue and and is adjacent to a playground. This intersection needs traffic calming to address the reckless driving towards the BQE entrance and delayed signals to allow pedestrians to safely cross (or Barnes dance signaling).

There are TEN lanes of traffic on third avenue where the local access lanes split from the central three lanes. This is insane! This makes third avenue effectively a surface-level freeway. It’s an incredible deterrent to pedestrians and cyclists crossing from either side of sunset park and completely unnecessary for the volume of cars. Please redesign the full stretch of 3rd avenue where the service/access roads exist alongside the central lanes - and consider eliminating completely in favor of bike lanes/bus express lanes and green space.

The intersection of 3rd avenue and 60th street is a death trap. Pedestrians have to take their lives in their hands crossing 3rd avenue: inadequate time, no traffic calming for careless and reckless drivers, inadequate lighting and extremely poor visibility. This is a heavily used intersection: two schools, residences, foot traffic to the BAT, and close to subways. It must be a priority for the city and dramatically reenvisioned. I fear for my safely and my family’s safety every time I need to cross this street - and there are no other safe options for those of us who live in the Sunset Park Waterfront neighborhood.

If the street grid isn't going to be restored anytime soon, at least normalize the crossings on Hamilton Avenue so that people are able to walk (or roll) the shortest possible distance, instead of the ridiculous lengths that currently exist like at Court Street.

The underpass here does not require 9 lanes. Get rid of some of them and make the pedestrian path larger and more inviting.

65 St - 5 Ave - 6 Ave

This one-block vestige of 65th Street is little more than a free parking lot for the neighboring Nissan dealership, but it gets a whole traffic phase at the 6th Avenue intersection. Plus the right red arrow light confuses drivers coming off the exit ramp. Remove this street, or at least make it dead-end at 6th Ave.
