Canal Street sidewalk should be twice as wide, easily, between 6th Ave and Bowery
Upgrade Warren Street to a protected bike lane!
This area of Manhattan needs another bicycling connection to the Hudson River Greenway. Putting a protected bike lane all the way from the Hudson River Greenway to the Manhattan Bridge and beyond to the East River Greenway would protect many many bicycling trips and save lives.
We need a protected bike lane on Canal Street to a) calm traffic, b) equalize mode share vs. road share and c) provide a safe cycling link from two crucial pieces of infrastructure: The Manhattan Bridge and the Hudson River Greenway. Thanks.
This is a great location for an East-West bike route.
Just make the whole area car free. Emergency services and city vehicles only.
There needs to be a bi-directional PROTECTED bike lane connecting the Manhattan Bridge and the Allen Street bike path on Canal St
This short stretch of road leading into Canal Street is a dangerous pedestrian crossing and should be closed to vehicles and pedestrianized.
This would be a great candidate for creating a pedestrian plaza and removing car use from this block
Sidewalks should be widened here to make the streets safer for pedestrians and reduce car volume
