Narrow sidewalk, please widen
bike lane on canal would be bomb dot com.
Today, this area experiences a lot of gridlock and blocking the box, which leads to a negative experience for all road users. With the CBD tolling program, congestion should decrease and some travel lane road space will become available to upgrade the corridor with new medians, wider sidewalks, and bulb outs. This can improve safety for everyone on the street.
We need safe bike infrastructure and we need it ASAP. The current timeline is a joke. DOT should use the tools it has available to make safe situations NOW.
