This part of the street always feels narrow with cars driving quickly and making this slight turn onto Bergen. The bike lane often gets driven in, and then as you approach 5th ave it sort of dissapears and cars take over and you have to weasel your way through them and fight to own the bike lane.

I LOVE the idea of the Bergen Bike Boulevard project! But I am appalled by the misguided new bus route and truck route on Bergen Street. It's quite a dangerous situation as it is. Who is deciding such stupid things as to put even more large vehicles on this block! Every time there's a delivery there are cars honking all the way up the block and bikes riding on the sidewalk because a bus or a truck can't get through - it's a narrow residential block that is only used as thoroughfare for buses and trucks; no one is shopping on Bergen Street! What is the logic here?

almost always a broken car parked in the bike lane or partially in it near the auto shop, or just people double parked as customers

Tons of double parking between the auto body shop and the islamic center

Difficult Turn/Crossing
Difficult Turn/Crossing
Bergen St - Nostrand Ave - New York Ave

Lots of cars turn left to go up Rogers here and either sit in the bike lane to do so, or don't see cyclists coming to cross straight through the intersection. The UPS on the next corner/block has tons of double parking so it can feel sketchy to cross this intersection and try to get into the traffic lane with the traffic, bus, and anyone blocking the bike lane

Almost daily double parking on this entire block from UPS store to just regular cars blocking the bike lane. with the bus route here it's often chaotic.

Lots of cars double parking on this street, sometimes in the bike lane, sometimes on the other side, but making it feel unsafe for bikes. Mostly around the church on the north side, and then the auto body shop on the south side near the next corner. Lots of cars parked in the street being worked on or staged for the auto shop.

The double parking of deliveries, movers, and more has gone up so much since these buildings opened. the bike lane is non existent right now, and the road surface is so unevenly paved. It's also going up hill so really hard to navigate on a bike trying to swerve around double parked vehicles with fast traffic going by.

Bad pothole here and exposed trolley tracks - dangerous for bike tires.

This little 'jog' sidewalks in confusing, and cars often speed here to make the light. Will need extra safety consideration.
