Trucks and speeding cars made crossing Atlantic Avenue extremely dangerous
Red lights don't last enough for pedestrians and cyclists to cross
Incredibly unsafe crossing for everyone
Incredibly unsafe crossing with Atlantic Avenue
This Bedford Av bike lane would be a great way to safely get to Prospect Park it it was parking protected. Right now it's unsafe for bikers and very dangerous for pedestrians due to the high speed of the traffic. Having a protected bike lane in Bedford Avenue connecting to Eastern Parkway would help a lot
Pedestrian refuges are only painted and rarely respected by cars in this intersection
Vehicles drive over this bike lane because it's not parking protected. It's incredibly unsafe. Just look at the picture from this exact location!
Unsafe crossing due to the speeding traffic in Atlantic Avenue
Car repair shops and trucks occupy the pedestrian areas and bike lane
Protected Bike Lane on Bedford Avenue: Implement a parkingprotected bike lane on all of Bedford Avenue in the manner proposed for Bedford Avenue in Community District 3, and adjust its design to prevent bicycles from having to cross vehicular travel lanes.
