This intersection needs a lot of work to protect pedestrians. The N/S lights are quick, the cars are quicker and constantly rushing pedestrians out of the crosswalks.

Please don’t install a bike boulevard here. The B65 is one of the best and most efficient buses in Brooklyn and critical for folks with accessibility issues who live here. There is no better path to Park Slope or Atlantic center for those of us who need mobility assistance. If anything put it alongside the children’s museum on St. Mark’s. Please don’t take our bus.

4th avenue is wide and drivers go through it recklessly and frequently block the bike lanes by double parking on the corners. Need to harden these corners with plants, bollards, etc

No serious thought about the local consequences of this — traffic issues, no street parking, speeding e-bikes, emergency vehicles not getting thru, deliveries…

A "bike boulevard" on Dean and Bergen obviously has not been thought through very seriously, nor have residents who live along these streets (not those passing thru) want this. We already have bike lanes along these streets, which are primarily used by delivery ebikes NOT families going to school. As someone who lives on Dean with children, I can attest to the fact that these streets are already very dangerous for pedestrians, ebikes & electric scooters flying every where, through red lights, on sidewalks, speeding, no law enforcement. " Boulevards" would only make this worse, no question. Also it would probably mean taking out parking which residents and local businesses use. What happens then for people who live here? What about local deliveries? School buses which use these streets. Where does the traffic go? Also, apparently the B65 bus would have to be re-routed to Atlantic for this?? Why would we want to take away a local bus and move it to a street several blocks away that already has multiple bus lines? The redesign on Court Street which prioritizes bikes, should be a warning about this. Total disaster for the people who actually live and work on/around Court.
