consider re-working this light. Lots of peds crossing York when driving south down Jay St and makes it very difficult to turn right from Jay to York. Ends up backing up a lot of traffic.

consider putting a stop light here. Lots of pedestrian traffic makes it difficult for cars to move.

Make Jay St two way again between York and Prospect to help get vehicles out of the neighborhood. Can move the Citibike bike corrals to the green space north and south of the BQE on the east side of the block.

There should be a crosswalk here for pedestrians. Many use it for that reason today, but crossing is dangerous without the crosswalk.

Bqe Wb Entrance Old Fulton St - Doughty St - Old Fulton St

This intersection is incredibly dangerous for pedestrians as cars making the turn from Old Fulton towards the BQE often run the red light and block the sidewalk and intersection and then proceed without regard to pedestrians. This intersection desperately needs a red light camera to keep pedestrians safe and traffic moving.

During weekends, and high traffic evenings. Close the road at this point from through traffic. DOT needs to do a study @ high traffic times, for understanding the percentage level of touristic visits to the area vs local businesses and community traffic. Seems from living here 95% of traffic at high times is people who do not need to go through the area.

Heard this is being turned into PICKLEBALL courts. So more entertainment for more people who don't live in this area. WHEN are the DOT and CITY going to STOP turning this neighborhood into a TOURIST PLAY PEN ? Where is the infrastructure for the community ?

Water St - Old Dock St - Main St

This Water St block, between Main and Dock, should be pedestrianized. Ideally every day, but to start, between Thursday - Monday. The traffic caused by drop-offs at Empire Stores, Seasmore's unnecessarily large outdoor dining area, and the loading docks is loud, brings pollution, and is unsafe. Not to mention the bus route being delayed constantly. The cars stuck in traffic honk all hours of the day and night, making it unbearable for residents. There is no need for public vehicles to drive down that stretch of street. Ideally, the whole of Water Street would be pedestrianized. If the city of NYC insists on sending thousands of tourists to dumbo, let's make it safer and people more room by keeping the cars out of Dumbo. It's such a small space, it's easily to cover by foot.

Pedestrian And Bike Path Link - Brooklyn Bridge Park Greenway - Pier

People on bikes are regularly riding here in tight areas. There are signs instructing people to dismount their bikes but those are largely ignored. People are pushing around baby strollers and it feels unsafe with people not dismounting their bikes.

Washington St - Front St - York St

The road south of here has been closed off on weekend nights to allow for construction. However this road allows people to access the highway, and weekend nights are an incredibly busy and heavy traffic time in Dumbo. Traffic gets redirected back to Front Street. There should be a better solution than this.
