Cars traveling with a high rate of speed diverging from traffic backup on Clarendon and Rogers. There are multiple families with small children on the block and it creates a very dangerous environment on what otherwise is a very calm and tranquil street.
OUT OF CONTROL engine noise/jake braking/honking from freight trucks at all hours of the day. Some trucks have literal train horns that they use indiscriminately and with total disregard of the dense urban environment they travel through. There is also consistent backup from the signal at Flatbush and Caton and the curve at Caton to Lindon causes a huge bottleneck. I understand that Caton is a major throughway for trucks, but noise enforcement would go a very long way in making a more habitable and peaceful neighborhood for everyone.
Parkside and Ocean is the worst intersection I have ever seen. Needs a major improvement.
Frequent high speeds and red light running, passing on double yellow into oncoming traffic. I witness vehicles going 60,70,80 mph on this road everyday.
Lincoln road from Flatbush to Prospect Park should be pedestrian only. With the buses and the trucks this place is a war zone.
Would be nice if this little plaza by the station house had some greenery or benches.
Private vehicles often run this light, especially if the road is clear (mornings, nights) and they have greens at Church or Caton. Unsafe to cross!
Bedford Avenue between Empire and eastern parkway needs a protected bike lane that prevents cars double parking in front of the college and community center.
Need protected bike lane connecting prospect park to Bedford Avenue bike lane on parkside avenue.
This stretch of Lincoln should be bus and delivery vehicles only: the parking and two way traffic make it a choke point for buses that delays services
