Dean St - Franklin Ave - Rogers Ave

Dean St between Grand and Kingston is wide enough for a protected bike lane.

Upgrade buffers bike lane on Bergen west of Classon to a protected bike lane. That segment of street is at least 40' wide. There is more than enough room.

The bus through here is very slow--a bus lane would speed up transit and make things a lot better for bus riders! I'd love to see this turned into a full busway with cars not allowed

Bedford Ave - Fenimore St - Hawthorne St

Bedford needs protected bike lane.

Flatbush Ave - Fenimore St - Hawthorne St

Pedestrians should not have a DON'T WALK sign to walk on the sidewalk across the driveway. Cars exiting the driveway and crossing the sidewalk should not get a green traffic light, they should always have to stop for pedestrians.

Double Parking
Double Parking
Parkside Ave - St Pauls Pl - East Drive

Double parking on parkside by the park is a disaster, grinds traffic to a halt. So many times I’ve seen ambulances just stuck there. Often times these double parked cars have people in them, and there are places they could pull over within 100 feet, but they are too lazy. Enforcement is needed, beyond more loading zones. Tow trucks should be patrolling this stretch on summer weekends immediately towing any double parked cars. I shudder to think at how many people have died because of this.

Flatbush Ave - Midwood St - Rutland Rd

Living in Flatbush Ave between Lincoln and paradise with a bike is terrifying. I know there are bike lanes on Bedford and coming in ocean and cross lanes too but with big rises on Flatbush there are 1000s of us on this stretch that have to risk our lives to get to the bike lane network. The illegal parking, double parking, speeding, it’s scary on this stretch

There is an open air drug market here often with double and illegal parked cars that creates a congestion choke point for cars and turning busses, it also creates extra traffic as the occasional fights and harassment there cause pedestrians to walk on the street to avoid it.
