There is an open air drug market here often with double and illegal parked cars that creates a congestion choke point for cars and turning busses, it also creates extra traffic as the occasional fights and harassment there cause pedestrians to walk on the street to avoid it.
Lots of jaywalking at this intersection, tons of people living here who don’t want to walk the blocks to the crosswalks, there should be a light and crosswalk at every block.

The double parking and illegal parking on this block is consistently the worst I see in the entire city. Absolutely unenforced 24/7 free for all of lawlessness.

Eastern Parkway Mall could really use paint and markings for the bike lanes - lots of pedestrians don't even realize there are bike lanes on the mall, and that creates many conflict points.
Need bike connections between Prospect Park and (at least) Bedford Ave. A Protected Bike Lane on Parkside Ave from Ocean Ave to Flatbush and a standard lane from Flatbush to Bedford (or something similar) would be massive for making a key bike connection in the neighborhood
