Bus Stuck in Traffic
Bus Stuck in Traffic
Flatbush Ave - Winthrop St - Parkside Ave

The portion of Flatbush from here to Empire could be an incredible business district - but the traffic takes so much away from the space. There should be center-running bus only lanes along the entire stretch, which would calm the street significantly, make it easier to get to and boost businesses

Washington Ave - Classon Ave - Carroll St

Missing crosswalks along Washington Avenue (at Classon Triangle, Crown, Carroll). It makes crossing the street really dangerous - especially for families visiting BBG or the Museum >:(

Empire Boulevard - Washington Ave - Flatbush Ave

The bike lane disappears on Empire Between Bedford and Flatbush. It's so unsafe with the reconfigured intersection, and it's a missed opportunity to connect to the new Ocean Av Bike lane in construction and the protected Flatbush corridor.

Franklin Ave - St Johns Pl - Lincoln Pl

This portion of Franklin should be protected bike lane along with the entire southern portion - traffic really drops off after Eastern Parkway

Illegal Parking
Illegal Parking
Flatbush Ave - Parkside Ave - Clarkson Ave

Dollar vans frequently block at least part of this bus stop, making it harder for the B41 to stop close to the curb

Bike

Ocean Ave - Empire Boulevard - Lincoln Rd

The protected bike lane abruptly ends at Ocean Ave, so there's no safe southbound bike travel past there without going on the sidewalk or the wrong way in the park

Freight

Flatbush Ave - Grand Army Plaza Oval - East Drive

Trucks (including illegal 53' trucks) park on Flatbush between Empire Blvd and Grand Army Plaza for hours on end

Flatbush Ave - Hawthorne St - Westbury Court

The B41 frequently gets stuck on Flatbush Ave because there's so much traffic

Hello, I'm sad to hear that the B103 is not being kept in the redesign process. I LOVE this bus, it offers a fast and efficient way to get from south Brooklyn to downtown Brooklyn. Thinking about "Fast and Free" busses, this is one of the only busses I've ever had a positive experience on and it would be a shame to remove a line thats working so well. Traveling on the highway means less traffic and more expedient routes, it is really the model the platform should be following, not doing away with.

there are a boatload of schools and children in this area that all like to cycle together - maple should be a protected bike lane
