Bergen St - New York Ave - Brooklyn Ave

This is a very important intersection to me because if I need to travel west on my bike into the city, I turn of of Tompkins to Bergen, but because neither of these bike lanes are protected or well marked, this is a dangerous place.

i bike down this road nearly daily, and the autobody shop on this corner is constantly parking in the bike lane, which is already squeezed at a very dangerous intersection. I want to see full biking protection along tompkins/brooklyn! And daylighting at Atlantic/Fulton where crossing is challenging for pedestrians on foot and bike

Double Parking

Clarendon Rd - Flatbush Ave - East 22 St

Funeral home consistently double parks on both sides, making it extremely unsafe for cars, bikes, and pedestrians. Unacceptable

Ocean Avenue could use a protected bike lane. I usually Citi bike here a few times a month - and I drop off my bike at the park instead of riding down Ocean Avenue, because it doesn't feel safe. I would love to be able to reach my destination via bicycle.

Please be bold and push forward with the most forward-thinking designs for the Bergen / Dean bike boulevards. The city is counting on you to build a street that we'll still be proud of 20 years from now - that prioritizes cycling and pedestrians without apology.

I would love to see a protected bike lane or a bike boulevard on Franklin Ave. I bike from Park Slope (Prospect Park West / 3rd St) to Crown Heights (Carroll St / Franklin Ave) twice per week - and the only part of the trip that is unprotected is Franklin Ave.

Adding a protected bike lane here would be a great way to make this street safer for kids. Statistics show that protected lanes make streets safer for everyone, not just cyclists. Plus it would help kids get to school via bike!

Please rely on evidence-based solutions to the problem of traffic violence. Cars kill more kids aged 1-12 in NYC than any other cause. There are so many things we could do to protect them and every other New Yorker, while making it easier to get around for everyone. Please, please don't be swayed by the vocal few who fear the loss of [parking]/[how its always been] and aren't interested in what the evidence shows. If Hoboken can do it, so can we. Thanks!
