The Grant Gore plaza could be significantly improved by extending the area by removing the few parking spots that are next to the Citybike dock. Including an extended hardened curb with additional planters would make this area way safer for pedestrians
Please consider implementing the DOT street improvement project (SIP) toolkit alongside Bedford Avenue in this area. The intersections have no daylighting protection or extended curbs, there are no traffic calming measures and traffic lights barely give enough time for children in the nearby schools to cross. This area seriously needs investment and attention from the department!

Frequent car speeding along Bedford Avenue, with no enforcement or control. This is incredibly dangerous for pedestrians, particularly children in the nearby schools
Why does the pedestrian crossing where Roger’s and Bedford Avenue merge have a concrete barrier cutting across the way? I’ve seen dozens of pedestrians trip here and several issues with wheelchairs and strollers. Please review the ADA compliance and overall pedestrian safety of this area.
Zero enforcement of the bus lane in Roger’s Avenue, leading to slower buses and unsafe streets for everyone
This intersection is incredibly dangerous for pedestrians due to the speeding traffic coming down the hill combined with the lack of daylighting measures.
B16 never runs and always stuck. would parkside be better route?
Truck with semi trailers illegally park here overnight.
Constant ponding here makes it difficult for people with mobility aids to cross the street safely.
