I am a business owner on Smith St. Times are very tough due to COVID-19 shutdowns. We are forced to cut back on every aspect possible. One of the ways is to get as much of the supplies myself instead of paying a premium having them delivered. Since the new bus and truck law went into effect this week, I cannot do that anymore! The surrounding traffic has halted to grind; it took me 30 minutes to travel a few blocks by car. And, when I finally reach the intersection at Smith and Livingston St, the traffic officers stopped me from going to my store half a block away. She threatens me with a citation if I continued to reason with her.
