Do not implement SBS in this area from East 16 to Mcdonald Ave. This will hurt all the businesses on this corridor. Parking is a must for the local businesses to survive.

Are you guys out of your mind!? Putting a bus lane on Kings Hwy will kill all the businesses there. How could we shop there without parking!?
For a B82 SBS, Kings Highway is actually too narrow for this service in this area. Avenue P would be a better option. It's wider, and can handle the longer buses. Propose that an auxiliary entrance/exit be built for the B/Q line at Ave P/E. 16th.

If the new sbs is going to be the double car buses like the B44 I think this would be a difficult turn. On top of that tons and tons of trucks like to double park here. Earlier this year a truck doubled parked and it was the day after a snow storm and it completely blocked traffic. I was riding the B100 at the time and we had to disembark here to get to the train. Bottom line this tight turn would be an issue especially if theres double parked trucks.
The B82 needs more buses especially during rush hour. And they also need to use the longer 60ft buses for both the B6 and B82 to properly handle the number of people riding everyday.
B82 needs to be extended to gateway.
The B82 Coney Island-bound stop needs a shelter with benches, or at least a bench. Also, how will you upgrade the B82 Spring Creek-bound stop at Utica Av to fit articulated buses?
B82 SBS Service MUST operate between Coney Island and Spring Creek. No SBS service should be shortened to Bay 37th St. All B82 local service should operate between Bay 37th St and Spring Creek Towers al all times except late nights, when service is extended to Coney Island when the SBS isn't running. Also, the B82 SBS should be extended east via the B83 route to Gateway Center Mall, making no stops until the B83 terminal.
