take your bikes to park sidewalks. leave residential areas alone. You have already hijacked 26 blocks on 34th Ave.
no where on 34th ave is suitable becuse of the nature of the urban fabric
Jackson Heights is too over crowded with cement blocks, giant flower pots, bike racks and plastic sticks. We have buses and subways and people also drive. People own their own bikes or we wouldn't need all the bike racks we have.
This is a residential area not a commercial. Place your bikes by the sidewalk of a park.
Please do NOT put a citibike station anywhere near 34th Ave and 73rd street! We have street traffic blocked for 13 hours a day. Busy bus routes in 73rd and 74th sts. School kids got twenty minutes twice a day but lots of extra time where delivery trucks are blocking all the corners. Many e-bikes now use the sidewalks and this is frightening to us. I have video of a recent situation where an e-bike and a mom with stroller very nearly collided on a 34th Ave sidewalk because IS230 was using the street instead of it’s schoolyard. I get shivers thinking about it! So Please, do NOT give us citibike anywhere near 34th and 73rd. Up at the Roosevelt Ave station on 71st or 70th street would make much more sense!

Bad Spot
Historical areas should not have ugly stations ruining the views. There's a reason why Landmarks mandates the buildings be maintained as they were in the 1940s. Now you want to add ugly commercial infrastructure for the benefit of a private, for-profit corporation?
Citibike station
