This area is actually a bit of a citibike dead zone. The nearest docks are several blocks away and often out of bikes. This church has a wide sidewalk in front that would be perfect. Right by two bus stops

This playground has space and is super popular. The nearest docks are a little out of the way and often lack bikes

East 8 St - 5 Ave - University Pl

Most bikeshare docks in this area are over-capacity and it's very common to not find any available docks. There should be a convenient dock for people coming down the 5th Avenue protected bike lane and looking to shop, eat, or do other activities on 8th street.

Need greater capacity here. Mornings docks are often empty and at night docks are almost always full.

Great location for a new bike station to be located on the E.12th Street protected bike path. This site would provide a much needed additional service and would alleviate the strain on the existing bike station located at Avenue A and East 13th Street. Proposed site would be the southwest corner of E.12th at Avenue A.

East 14 St - 14 St Loop - 14 St Loop

This site will provide much needed service to users taking the L Train which has a new entrance located at E.14th and Avenue A. Also, new shopping destinations at E.14th and Avenue A include a recently opened Trader Joe's and a new Target, as well as, other new stores and bars/restaurants. This is an ideal bike station location. Note that the MTA bus stop has been relocated from this site to the other side of the new subway entrance (between Ave A and First Ave). There is ample space for the new bike station. Thank you.

Butler St - Bond St - Nevins St

This is an up and coming site in the city! Soon, the largest climbing gym in NYC (The Cliffs at Gowanus) will open at this intersection. In 2022, conEdison will be opening the Nevins Charging Hub to bring in clean energy storage systems and electric vehicle charging stations. Down the block is Public Records, a hugely popular venue, cultural center and vegan eatery. Lastly, this is a centralized location between several NYCHA housing developments that frequently utilize CitiBike stations. Anecdotally, nearby stations are consistently full, so this would be a perfect location to make more spaces available!

Would be a great location for a new bike share station, as the stations in the area are well used.

Hudson River Greenway - Bike Path - Bloomfield St

it's unbelievable we gave away so much space to private developers along the hudson river with no public transportation to get there. They need racks all up and down Hudson bike path but especially around chelsea piers, little island, city winery.
