There used to be a dock here and it was removed and the docks on 1st avenue are further away and in an inconvenient location.

I’m writing to request the installation of a CitiBike station near 10-04 Borden Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101. Our community is rapidly growing, and with increased residential and commercial development, there is a clear need for more accessible and sustainable transportation options. A CitiBike station in this area would: Improve access for both residents and visitors traveling to and from the waterfront and local businesses. Support eco-friendly commuting and reduce traffic congestion. Strengthen connectivity between existing CitiBike stations in Long Island City and surrounding neighborhoods. Given the high foot traffic and the upcoming openings in this area, we believe a station at or near this address would be highly utilized and benefit the community. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to your response.

Would really love some more bike parking here, there is always a shortage of parking spots, never a shortage of bikes. Bike docks around the area will often fill up as well, making the nearest parking nearly a 10 minute walk away.

Please add a dock by Little Island! I often am biking up the river and would stop to enjoy the park but there is nowhere convenient to dock.

PLEASE add a dock near these basketball courts. I often am riding up the river and would stop to play basketball but can't because there is nowhere near to park and I don't want to leave the river path.

Please add capacity to this dock or add more stations by metro tech. I am often late to work because I can't find parking in the morning.
