Just one block in any direction from here, especially on grand central pkwy, the traffic gets insane during rush hour. This station here would be a good alternative for anyone who is thinking of driving.
Tons of apartment buildings here, the residents would use this station very often.
Traffic here is insane during rush hour. Having a bike docking station will encourage more people to ride the bike instead and take advantage of the new bike lanes nearby.
The intersection is ideally situated for short trips in multiple directions, which makes it perfect for bikeshare use. Many residents already pass through this area on foot, and adding a bikeshare station would encourage more active, sustainable transportation while reducing car congestion.
