Great location near a park two schools, block the buses make it harder for elderly people to get around and the bikes near the police station so the criminals they release have a quick Way to leave our neighborhood!
Dead end street with no cars near the park, right off northern to access the main roads.
Post office has ample space on the sidewalk for the bikes
Bikes should be on the dead end streets on 78th street
82nd street is a major street for MTA buses and lead directly to the firehouse. Bikes stations and bikes would make this area more congested, train is a few blocks away.take the bus to the train. Place bikes on the dead end streets on 78th street.
So many cars illegally park on this block - it has shown that it’s not needed as a through street and a big bike lane could go along the median. It would prevent those illegally parked cars and residents from those apartment buildings with very limited bike storage could take advantage of having Citibike right at hand. It also is where open streets starts and that would be a great new amenity to have.
I know shareholders at Willow Court and would happily speak to the board about hosting a station in front of the co-op.
A number of restaurants a located here and the closest subway is far away. This would be a big boost to our local places and two parking spaces could fit at least 14 Citibikes - that’s fourteen potential customers. The trek from nearest subway is over 15 minutes but this would be a 4 minute bike ride. That would be a lot more potential customers.
Next to the sidewalk bulbout could be great. Somewhere on this intersection would be popular--taking a corner parking spot could "daylight" an intersection for more pedestrian safety too.
