Put the citibike station in front of sagitario bakery on roosevelt ave. The station needs to be as close as possible the station entrance for easy access for train users. The other corners have bus stops so this would be the better location. Don't put it far away as the farther it is from the train station the less useful the citibike's will be
Please put the citibike station here on the street NOT sidewalk. There is already the massive parking lot here so 3 spaces for the citibike is fine. Please don't take away the little sidewalk space when there is ample parking here already.
Please not here. We already deal with enough noise pollution from airplanes flying overhead and from speeding vehicles with loud mufflers. A docking station would only worsen that by having extremely noisy slamming of citibikes into their slots. Also everyone in this street has already adamantly stated that parking is already scarce and we really don’t need more parking spaces taken away.
I’m not sure it would work on 25th avenue. Maybe Northern or Astoria. Speeding cars coming off the highway, many deaf students that often jaywalk, residents that already own bikes, and older residents that need on street parking would make this a place neither desired by residents, profitable to Citibike, and without an impending fatality or major accident.
I would strongly advise against placing a docking station in this area…this park is hardly used, residents need parking spots, the theft and robbery rate here is high, and anyone who rides a bicycle already owns one. This station would likely hardly be used and not be profitable and would do better on Astoria, Northern Blvd, etc.
I would strongly recommend against any citibike docking stations here unless they can occupy sidewalk space. Too many old people, uber drivers and other people that rely on cars for their jobs are already facing a tough parking situation.
More Citibikes please!
Good location for a Citi bike station! Close to the park and 34th Avenue Open Street.
Do not take any more of our taxpayers parking spaces.
