Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. Bike parking near Columbia, Cathedral, and Mount Sinai hospital would serve many people
It would make a lot of sense to locate personal bike storage units near bike lanes, Citibike stands (when travelling with friends who might not have their own bikes eg. visitors), and NYCT and LIRR. I can imagine these hubs becoming key components of bike infrastructure, like in Europe.
Cargo and standard bike parking for several families on this block who do not have good parking options please!!
Bike parking for PS241 School!! This would be cargo bikes, regular bikes for kids and adults and hopefully space for scooters and strollers as well
Anywhere between/near Nostrand / Bedford and Greene would be incredible! It’s right by the G train and the streets are littered with abandoned bikes with parts stolen because people give up. A bike lock rack or two in this area would give us bikers somewhere to keep bikes safe and reduce the abandoned locked clutter on the streets.

secure parking for airport. with option for longer term storage
Secure bike parking would be amazing here, especially with the possibility for multiple days.
