A popular Think Coffee shop is located here. There should be parking to support it. I see people locking the bike up to the pole.
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to SecureBikeParkingNYC@dot.nyc.gov.

This would be a great spot for bike parking. It could go right infront of the bike lane, there's enough space for it and we only have the bx9 there, so using bikes to commute is a staple of my neighborhood
Overnight bike parking for Winthrop Street between Flatbush and Bedford! We are a densely populated neighborhood with high-bikeability (right next to prospect park) and absolutely terrible car traffic on Flatbush Avenue and surrounding areas. Safe bike locks would serve existing cyclists and help increase biking with our neighbors!!
There are no bike racks on this block!
Overnight bike parking for Winthrop Street between Flatbush and Bedford. The most densely populated neighborhood in Brooklyn deserves some love!!
This would be a fantastic addition to our neighborhood. I have several neighbors who are in walk up buildings and this would make it so much easier to keep our bikes safe and accessible. I had my bike stolen overnight while keeping it chained on the street. I would be able to use it more often and have less fear about it's security. Thank You!
Please add residential/long-term and short term bike parking on this block! I live in a building that does not provide bike parking in the building and have to pay a local garage $40 a month to store both mine and my partners bike. The short term bike parking would be great for users going to Dean Playground and/or overflow from Chelsea Piers gym the next block over.
looking forward
