Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

This area of South Slope / Greenwood is technically a transit desert so many people here have cargo bikes and regular bikes. There is space to site SBP in the curb extensions at the intersection of 21st Street and 7th Ave.

West 136 St - Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard - Frederick Douglass Boulevard

65-70% of the time no parked/standing vehicles, following with illegal parked or standing cars/trucks for long periods coming second, with maybe 1-2% of usage from the church only on Sundays and that's being generous as they don't park but rather use it for drop off, with barley any cars usage. maybe 3-4 cars using it for said drop off. Would be a great spot to better utilize and reclaim public curbside, close to the center of my block for residential bike storage/parking.
