Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. The sidewalks here are very wide and a lot of residents commute by bicycle. This would be a great location for secure bike parking !

Add a self lock bike rack for students that attend this school. There is currently no place to secure their bikes.
Add a short term bike rack to self lock for students that attend P.S 88. The bike racks that are there are already always full in the mornings.

I’m moving to East 75th Street on the Upper East Side and would love to see secure, long-term bicycle parking installed near East 75th Street and York Avenue or First Avenue. My building has no bicycle storage, and my apartment is too small to accommodate my full-size electric bicycle. I rely on my bike for affordable, sustainable transportation, but leaving an expensive e-bike locked outside overnight presents serious theft and weather concerns. I would happily pay a reasonable monthly membership for a secure, weatherproof bicycle parking pod within walking distance of my home, ideally with 24/7 access and accommodations for e-bikes. I’m sure many other Upper East Side residents face the same challenge. Adding secure residential bicycle parking here would make cycling a much more practical transportation option for the neighborhood. Thank you for considering this location!
Many bikers in the neighborhood, very few apartments big enough to store them long term. I'd love an option like this in near the Graham Avenue L train, thank you!!
