Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

2 Ave - East 19 St - East 20 St

Lots of people on these block commute and it would be very helpful for the school, ps 40

St Marks Ave - New York Ave - Brooklyn Ave

This is a huge building with lots of residents and there is no bike storage indoors. People chain their bikes by the entrances of the building on both St Marks and Bergen sides, but there's not enough room for everyone. Sidewalk is large and wide enough to accommodate a big bike rack.

Madison Ave - East 53 St - Manhattan

Citibike at this corner fills early during the day and empties very fast at the end of work. Bike parking nearby would likely also be very well used.

Britton Ave - Ithaca St - Hampton St

This area is very building heavy with no space for tenants to put their bikes in their apartments other than outside where they get often stolen or get in the way of garbage day days. We need one around this area!

West 72 St - Broadway - West End Ave

There are always bikes out here because people in the building own bikes. I always see 2-3 cargo bikes. There are many families with bikes and it would be nice to have secure storage for these bikes.
