I think the area on 50th Avenue, particularly between 50th Avenue and 2nd Street, would be an ideal location for secure bicycle storage. There are several large residential developments in the area, which likely creates strong demand for bike parking, and the location seems sufficiently out of the way to accommodate storage facilities without disrupting foot or vehicle traffic.

Greene Ave - Marcy Ave - Tompkins Ave
Somewhere in Herbert Von King Park seems like an obvious spot for secure bike storage! I know there is already a plan to upgrade the dog park, would be great to continue to improve the park in many ways, including secure bike storage. In the nice weather, this park has gotten BUSY. We don't have a lot of grassy spaces in Bed-Stuy, this park is essential. Secure bike storage would be so good here.

Lewis Ave - Halsey St - Macon St
Popular intersections like this, with businesses on each corner, bus routes in either direction, it's a local node for the neighborhood. Would be a good spot for bike storage too.

Busy intersection, already a bike lane, CitiBikes, grocery store, let's further strengthen the supportive options for cyclists!

CitiBikes are often placed in places that would similarly be great for secure bike storage. This location, next to the Macon Library would be a good spot.

Fulton St - Schenectady Ave - Stuyvesant Ave
There are always lots of bikes locked up the fence in the park here next to the entry to the AC subway station at Utica. Both parks and by subway stops are prime locations for secure bike storage! In Bed-Stuy, where we rely on the AC, which goes to Manhattan, getting north or south in Brooklyn often requires a transfer to a bus, or a bike! Secure storage would help!

Look how many bikes are locked up to fences on this block! Bike storage in renovated brownstones is a real challenge. Residential blocks like this need better options. We can give up a parking space or two to more securely store bikes!
