Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. The east Bronx residents could really use a secure bike storage area at their entrance to the Botanical garden. The closest bus/subway stops are still a long walk from this entrance, so biking is the easiest way to get here.
please add secure bike parking! our sidewalks are huge and empty and can handle the structure, plus LOTS of bikers on this block

My bike was run over by a car while parked in the normal bike racks. Having secure parking would have prevented this!
Long term regular bike storage
There are hundreds of deliveristas parking here. They are parked in the street. There is an 11,600sf space at the corner of 11th & A. I understand it's private property, but why can't the city make some kind of deal to rent it and make a deliverista parking lot in there, with resources for the workers.
Lots of bikers in this area. Having an ebike parking spot here along this bike lane would be awesome!
