Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.
Great spot
Bond is a low-traffic street, which sits at the intersection of major bike lanes moving north-south on Bond/Hoyt and East-West on Dean/Bergen. Especially with the addition of the coming bike boulevard, this is a key intersection for bikers. By locating it on Bond it also avoids issues with disrupting people’s homes, since this portion of Bond (on the east side above Dean) has only the sides of buildings. It would provide ideal long-term storage for everyone who lives in boerum hill. There could also be short-term storage for those accessing the popular restaurants and businesses right there.

Would love a long-term bike locker here
Quiet Neighbourhood near Major trains!

This neighborhood is short on parking and with a Whole Foods about to open around the corner it’s gonna get worse. Being able to park bicycles nearby would be great.

This is in front of PS 29. Many parents take their children to school by bike, so having ample storage would be tremendously helpful. At present there are bike racks out front where bikes have been chained for months on end, so they're not usable.
