Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.
Overnight parking
Bike parking for apartment residents at 3716 83rd Street! There's no bike storage in this building. They need to fill all the deep potholes on the street first though.
Bike parking by the L train would be great! I have a long walk from the P, so I often park my bike up outside on one of the racks here before heading to the city. I don't like to do this often because I worry about the security. Having secure storage here would help for others who rely on the L to get into Manhattan.

Long-term bike storage on this block would be great!
Our street has no bike parking of any sort! Would be nice to have to since it's so near to the subway stop and having bike parking would eliminate all need to have a car. Many deliveristas live in the neighborhood too and it would help them directly.
Northern Blvd is a major artery in Jackson Heights, residential as well as commercial. Providing bike storage here would supply so many residences and apartments the opportunity to enjoy the 34th Ave open street, and get to Flushing-Corona Park in 15 minutes, connecting a neighborhood famous for its lack of green space with the borough's biggest park. There are many schools around here too, and children should have access to bikes, the infrastructure (34th open street) is already there. Locating the storage near Northern Blvd/34th also opens up many transportation options for those that are slightly outside of walking distance to the 7 line.
