Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

It will be nice to have a well maintained and secure bike rack for the people in our building that own bikes. It’ll give them a safe and convenient place for their bikes. Something our landlord Seth Miller has failed to provide year after year.

My partner and I would love to have bikes to get around, get active, and explore the neighborhood in an eco-friendly way, but we don't have room in our apartment and we don't have bike storage space in our building. This would be a great way to enable us to have and use our own bikes!
