Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. Really need Category 1,2,3,& 4 here for Cargo bikes and Ebikes here at the pool! So many bikes are here durning the summer for swimming. A lot of kids ride here and we need more bicycle parking for them.
This LIRR station needs a safe short term covered parking solutions for people going to Manhattan when they can't take there bikes on the LIRR during peak hours.
Short-term (daily) bike parking for Hudson line MNR customers.
A covered bike parking area for parents and kids to store there bikes when coming to baseball games and practice
Secure short-term (hourly) bike parking by Inwood Greenmarket for farmers market shoppers.
Secure short-term (daily) bike parking near engineering building for student/professors. Adjacent to existing citi bike dock.
Kind of crazy that this big of a transit hub for LIRR, Airtrain, Subway, and Buses does not have some sort of temporary room to store bike for commuters and workers. There is no way as a pedestrian to walk/ride to JFK. The Airtrain station needs a short term parking for bicycle and ebike charging solution for workers that is covered and theif proof. If Lefferts Blvd is the only safe bicycle parking for JFK. It add 4 extra miles to the people of queens commute if they were already close to this station. Every train station in Japan, China, Singapore, and Amsterdam already have these rooms.
Lots of families here! We need more cargo bikes in NYC.
