A new supermarket is opening up here, and it'd be very nice to have bike storage here!
Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Lots of bikes chained all around the neighborhood. It would be good to have secure loactions around Prospect Park, especially between 7th and 8th Streets next to the Citibike parking. Parking along Prospect Park West and the rest of the perimiter of the park would be less in the way than in the middle of a residential street.
Very good location + upcoming PBL on 33rd St!
As a renter, there is nowhere safe and sheltered to park an e-bike around here. My e-bike has been locked to a planter and rusting over time. This is a high-traffic corner that could serve both residents who live within a block (like me) and visitors to the retail on this block of Underhill.
Columbus Avenue has a great bike lane, unfortunately storing a bike is difficult for many residents. A bike storage space would be much appreciated here.
This park and ride lot is (I believe) owned by the city. Would be cool to encourage people to bike and ride instead.
End of a bike lane is a logical place for long term storage, acting as a sort of terminal.

It would be great to have secure bike and e-bike parking around here. For residents in the area (like myself) who use bikes to bring kids to school in park slope (via Dean & Bergen) and for those coming to this area to shop on court and atlantic. This intersection is particularly tricky for bikes and for pedestrians crossing court st and can get very congested. Some system that encourages better traffic movement would be ideal.
Would love a secure e-bike parking here
