Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. Bike storage
There's a huge open area of blocked-off street by Yeshiva University that would be perfect for a few bike lockers. This would be for long-time residents and not just Yeshiva students who are here temporarily. It would allow more families to bike with their children and long term make NYC a safer place to bike.
Many people ride ebikes in Sunset Park. They are important for getting around this hilly neighborhood. I would like to ride an ebike but my landlord won’t allow them. This storage facility would be invaluable for residents.
