4 Ave - 11 St - 12 St - Brooklyn

I am requesting protected bicycle parking on 4th Avenue between 11th and 12th streets. This block has no trees, benches, bus stops or other public amenities but is located on a major bicycle thoroughfare and is very close to an important local transit hub that connects the F,G and R trains with the B61 and B103 busses.

There are multiple longtail cargo bikes parked on this block that belong to residents — it would be so nice to have somewhere secure to store them!

West 82 St - West End Ave - Riverside Drive

It would be good to have secure bike parking adjacent to a public school for special needs children and a private school (Calhoun). The residents could use it at night while the school staff could use it during the day. It will serve a great need as it is between two subway stations.

Grand St - Manhattan Ave - Brooklyn

Grand St and Manhattan Ave. I have two bikes, my boyfriend wants to get one but we are running out of storage, and I know at least one of our neighbors has a bike too. It would definitely get lots of use here! I would love secure long term storage. I currently have to walk my bike down (and then back up) two flights of stairs every time I take it out. This would make a huge difference!!
