Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. We need this very much. Walk ups cant handle cargo bikes. Even elevator builds have small elevators that cannot.
A bike parking would be good here because it's near the 10th ave bike lane and you can get on to the Hudson River park on 50th, meaning people could bike from the park, park their bikes, and enjoy the shops on 9th and 10th or catch a cross town bus. Maybe you can position the bike parking in such a way that a bus can still get to the bus stop but it discourages people from parking in the bus stop which happens a lot.
There are many bikers on these blocks that have trouble storing bikes (and e-bikes, and cargo bikes) in walk-ups or small basement bike rooms. Even building with elevators don't have space for cargo bikes in the small elevators. This could help transform our neighborhood! There is so much demand, we can see bikes parked often is less-than-ideal spots.
Would love ebike storage here.
Many of my neighbors in need of overnight e-bike parking here. Please help us as our buildings don't have bike parking options!
High density buildings with lots of bikers along Lincoln Avenue hwo use Franklin, Eastern Parkway and Bedford ave daily.

Great place for bike storage/accommodation as there's no bus stop on Washington and Eastern Parkway. Would be right off Eastern Parkway dedicated lanes and also next to Brooklyn museum.
Multiple bikes locked to very few street signs here.
