Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location

This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.

To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

Secure bike parking along Eastern Parkway would enable better multimodal transport!

East 35 St - West 35 St - Madison Ave

Next to City University New York Graduate School and University Center. Only commuter student body and just 1 single old bike rack on the 5th ave side. Not many people walk on this side block on 35th str, there is no store fronts/businesses on the university side of the sidewalk and there is ample space on the side for a bike rack. Would benefit city graduate students tremendously.

Across the street from Fordham Plaza, by the Citbike docks and Public bathroom. Major transportation point. Part of the busy shopping area of Fordham. Bike & Cargo bike parking. Catch the thrill of biking around Fordham and the Bronx.

This is a high needs area for bike commuters, including myself. People lock bikes to posts etc along the sidewalk because there is nowhere to store them.
