Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

I live in this area in a walk up apartment that makes it all but impossible for me to safely store a bike in my apartment. I would really love a safe and affordable way to store my bike outside!
This is one of the furthest spots from a train station in Manhattan. This sidewalk here is wide and not over crowded. Additionally, it is surrounded by dense residential housing and it would be very useful for people to be able to secure their bikes

There are many high density apartment buildings in this part of Bay Ridge. It would be great to have somewhere to store a bicycle.
Several daycares nearby that people bike to
Having secure bike parking options outside the Fresh Pond M station would be a huge help for commuting to/from my home in Glendale. I would mostly use this for long-term parking. There are already a lot of bikes parked here, but they are locked to MTA or other fences because there aren't enough racks nearby. A large secure pike barking station at the end of the block next to the station entrance would solve this.
