Suggest a Secure Bike Parking Location
This feedback map is for Secure Bike Parking, a new citywide program. NYC DOT would like to know how this program can best serve your bike parking needs. Please tell us what type of bicycle you would like to store (standard, e-bike, cargo, adaptive, etc.) and the length of time (long-term, short-term, overnight, weekends, etc.) at each suggested location. You may also indicate preferred amenities such as e-bike battery charging, tire pumps, and bike repair stations.
To add a suggestion, please select the most appropriate bike icon in the “select comment type” dropdown. Next select a submission type (map preferred) and place as close to an intersection or location of interest as possible. If there is an existing marker/pin at your proposed location, please add another marker/pin. If you're having trouble with adding your comments, please review "Feedback Map Instructions" or you can email your suggestions to NYC SecureBikeParking@dot.nyc.gov.

This is a major transit hub and would benefit from secure bike storage. It also connects to many bike lines that people use to commute to work - 4th ave bike lane to go south to Sunset Park, ashland place bike lane to go north to DUMBO, Dean st bike lane to go Crown Heights and beyond, etc. It would be useful if someone coming from far away wanted to bike to Atlantic Ave/Barclays center, and then take a train into Manhattan. Many people are nervous about biking on bridges so this would be a nice compromise.

Citi bike docks are always full in Redhook. I’d like to take my own bike.
Would love to bike to the beach here.
